Red, Black and Slimey Green

It's a color challenge over at Crafty Sprouts!!!
This card was so much fun. The spooky house is a Studio G stamp from Wal Mart. I embossed it with black powder. The spider web is an ek success punch. Sentiment is compliments of the fabulous Crafty Sprouts "Totally Witchin" stamp set and the awesome crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam's "Spooky" bundle.
I made this card before the challenge but I thought it was funny how it kind of fit. It is only missing the color red. The Crinkle Ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam's "Spooky" bundle. I ruffled it and sewed down the middle. The sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts "Totally Witchin" stamp set. The cut file is from My Scrap Chick's Hocus Pocus cut file.

Happy Birthday Mr. Morris

The principal at my grandkids school is having a birthday today. I made a word book for him a little while ago and this is the card to go with it. If you would like to see the word book you can find that post HERE.
I got the 2 stamps for this card at JoAnn's liquidation sale and embossed them with blue embossing powder. The crosses were made with a Paper Studio punch. I didn't want it to be too girlie so I kept it simple. I have to say this picture does not do the card justice. It is much more elegant in person.

Halloween Treats already

For Bryce and Kylie's Halloween treats at school we made M & M matchbook treat holders. These are fast, fun and easy to make. We made 58 of them for the whole school.

The pumpkin stamp is from Studio g. There are 4 different pumpkins in the set. Wal Mart has them for 97 cents. I printed out the Happy Halloween and punched them out with the ek success "Photo Labels" punch.

Thank You Pop-Up Card

Oh Yeah I got some awesome goodies in the mail today. There were 3 sets of Crafty Sprouts stamps in this package and I was so excited!! I used 3 stamps from the "Let's go Blog Hopping" set and they are simply the most adorable stamps. I also got "Monster Kisses" and "Totally Witchin" which I was lucky enough to win.
I saw a video on YouTube by "Vadeler" on how to make this pop up card and it is way too cute. I am attaching the video to this post.
I used Peachy Keen "Happy New Year Assortment" and "Happy Lashes Assortment" on the hearts and stars.

Another Multi Panel Card

All the cuts for this card came from the Spring-a-ling set from Lettering Delights. The edges of the cloud have been inked up to make them look a little more thunder cloudish. I also added lots of pink Stickles.

MTC has this new way cool feature where you can access all of your Lettering Delights files from within the MTC program. It is the coolest feature I have ever seen and I love love love it.

Spooky Halloween

I was watching a video on making a multi panel card over at Cricutology and really love the look of these cards so I had to try one myself. I used the Tim Holtz Townscape border die for the row of houses, the grass is from a Fiskars border punch and all the other cuts are from the Halloween Cards file at Visual Designs by Chris. I added some black and yellow Stickles and inked up the houses to make them look a little more spooky. The papers are from 7gypsies 6x6 Venice paper pack. It is double sided and I am loving it. I think it is something new that Hobby Lobby is starting to sell because I have never seen it there before.

Business Card Holder

I have become so far behind on blogging this last week, because of some problems I was having, but that doesn't mean I haven't been creating. Technology is so awesome but when when it fails it really puts a kink into things. I finally got pictures of most of the projects I have made so today I am scheduling posts for this week.

I made 2 of these super cute business card holders but could only get a picture of this one because the second one is at work already. The file for this holder is from Christy's Cuts and you can find it HERE. She also has another holder that is not shaped so you can decorate it however you wish. You can find the second holder HERE. I work at my local sewing machine dealer so I just had to make the sewing machine holder for work. The only thing I added to this project was some Stickles and it turned out so adorable and very quick and easy to make. I was actually a little surprised at how sturdy it is but using cardstock it is extremely usable.
