Thanksgiving Cartridge

I made this layout using the Thanksgiving cartridge I won from KAndrew Designs. This cartridge is so much fun and has so many great designs to use.

The "Gather Together" was cut at 1 3/4". I made the leaf scroll into a serving platter for the apple pie and they were all cut at 3". I added some Spare Parts flowers and a brad, a lot of glitter pen, and white Signo stitch lines. It is being entered in the Getting Cricky's Fall Blessings Challenge at KAndrew Designs. Now all I need is a couple of family pictures at Thanksgiving this year and it will be complete.

Give Thanks card

This card turned out so truly amazing. The cut file is from RSMobleys Designs called Harvest Memories. I used the "Give Thanks" sentiment from the cut file and cut it apart to attach them seperately. I pop dotted the grapes, pumpkin and the wheat to give some dimension.

I added Gelly Roll glitter pen accents (my very favorite). I think I add glitter pen to everything. The card was made on Pearlized Cardstock which adds some extra shimmer and I added some Fall Argyle ribbon which are both from The Paper Studio.

The Cutest Vampire I've Ever Seen

I made these adorable little vampire bookmarks for my grandson's class. He was really excited about them so I'm sure his classmates will be too. It shouldn't surprise me how cute they turned out because KAndrew always has such awesome designs but I have to say they are even cuter in person.

I used my Chomas Creations gel pen to make the face and coffin sentiment, and a black Copic multi-liner and Signo white gel pen for the eyes.

My Pink Stamper Live Broadcast Challenge

Robyn and Karlee issued a challenge on the My Pink Stamper live broadcast this evening and hey who doesn't like a challenge. The requirements were to make something in 30 minutes using pink, purple and green.

I just got the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge at the Hobby Lobby sale this week and I have my 2 grandkids on the brain because I am missing them and worrying so what better than to make a card for them and about them. Kylie's favorite color is pink so it wasn't a stretch. I wish they had a princess on this cart but I didn't see one. She wants pink princess cupcakes for her birthday in 18 days. Bryce's favorite color is blue and he is a down and dirty kind of kid.

I used Peachy Keen Stamp's "Everyday Character Face Assortment" and when I stamped his face I kind of smudged around the eyes. Hey he's a construction worker so I just smudged him up a little more and if I didn't confess here to everyone I bet you would have thought it was an on purpose. LOL

I don't have many everyday sentiment stamps so I wrote with my  Green Star Gelly Roll pen "Big Brothers are Awesome"

Holly Jolly Tree Easel Card

This is the first easel card I have ever made and I am just amazed at how awesome it turned out. The tree used is "Holly Jolly Tree" from RSMobleys Designs. I used Gelly Roll glitter pens: Green Star to make the words shimmer, Clear Star on the bows and White on the holly. I embossed the tree and dotted with Gold Stickles and pop dotted it onto the card. I stamped a sentiment from Papertrey Ink and pop dotted it onto the base.

Operation Write Home Cards

Here are 2 of the cards I am sending for Creations By Christie's Challenge. The challenge ends on October 17th but the cards don't have to be to Christie until the 26th so that is a couple more days to make even more before needing to send them off.

I used my glitter pens alot on these cards.

Fall Party Bags

I made 20 of these bags for my grandson's fall party at school on Thursday. The teacher will use these for the kids not finding a chair in musical chairs. I think that is totally awesome. I know that kids need to learn that you don't always win but, come on, not at 5 years old. I put a medal, a bouncy ball and a top in each bag.

Today I saw a challenge on My Pink Stamper to make something cute. Since I was still working on these bags this morning technically they are something I made after the challenge started so I am entering them .  LOL

The bear came from My Scrap Chick. I stamped "You Rock" from a set by Fiskars (So Much Thanks) with gold ink.  I used my very, very, very first Peachy Keen Stamp which was from their Everyday Character Face Parts and More set PK-495. Everyone keeps asking why he looks so sad. I just think he looks "CUTE". The bag was from Plantin SchoolBook and I cut it fit to page on a piece of 12x12 cardstock.

Thank You Card

Here is a card I made using the Thanksgiving cart I won from KAndrew.  I am entering it in her Getting Cricky's Fall Blessings Challenge.

The trim at the top was made using a Martha Stewart border punch but otherwise it is all from the Thanksgiving cart. I cut a piece of cardstock to put behind the pilgrims to make them stand out better and I also clipped off the tendrils because they just didn't seem to work with the card. I used foam squares to make them pop a little also. I traced the Thank You, part of the pumpkin and the pilgrim hats with a Gelly Roll glitter pen to add a little extra.

5 Little Monkeys

My mom was visiting family in Colorado for my uncle's 80th birthday. She was singing the 5 Little Monkeys song with my cousins granddaughter one day and they were having so much fun. On her way home Kimber fell asleep and when they got home her mom said she woke up singing the song and my aunt said she recites it often. My mom asked me if I could make a book, with the 5 little monkeys, for Kimber to read. On the last page there will be a picture, my aunt took, of them singing the song and space for mom to write a special note for her. The cut file for this project came from My Scrap Chick.

Thank You K Andrew -- You are the BEST

Look what I got in the mail today!!! I won this blog candy from K Andrew. She sent me an email telling me to expect her package and I had been watching and waiting all week. Running to the window every hour to see if the yellow flag on my mailbox was flipped up and then running outside when it was. Today all my patience finally paid off (I think the mailman just knew what he was in for if he made me wait any longer).

The first blog I ever started following was Getting Cricky with K. Andrew.  The first design I ever bought was from her store at Visual Designs by Chris. The first challenge I ever entered was on her blog. She is the absolute best so go check out her blog.

She is having another blog candy going on for an embosser and zebra mat--courtesy of CRI-KITS and a Fall Blessings Challange for the Boys will Be Boys Cartridge.
