Reach for the Stars

I don't think that I have used my embossing paste since Stamp-a-faire and here again they are being used for another Papertrey Ink challenge.....
This craft room of mine needs a serious purge session so that some of those neglected items can come out again.

Very seldom do I make something to keep for myself but this easel card is going to sit above my desk to keep reminding me to strive for more and never give up.

Miscellaneous Supplies:
DecoArt Dimensional effects texture paste

Happy Birthday Spinner

At work we have a couple of groups that meet to sew, bead and have fun with other crafts. I have been making quite a few cards for their birthdays. Most of the birthday's I know but there are always those that take me by surprise so I like to have a few on hand just for those times.
I used the spinner die to cut a circle in the front and covered it with acetate. This makes the arrow spin more freely.

Camera Shaker

Shaker cards are so popular right now and I can totally see why. The last shaker I made was over 2 years ago and I forgot exactly how much fun they are.

I cut the lens out of this camera and replaced it with acetate, added some glass beads and bam you have the cutest dang shaker stand up card ever.

Happy Birthday

Last weekend our oldest grand son turned 10! Time has gone by so fast.

I love and adore all 4 of my grand kids but there has always been a different connection with Bryce since he lived with us for the first 2 1/2 years of his life. He has such a magnetic and powerful personality so he deserved a card as vibrant as he is.

Masculine Thanks

Thank You cards are a must for any stash so when you can find a single stamp set with tons of unique ways to show appreciation it is a gold mine.

For my 2 year anniversary with the Stamps of Life - Stamp Club I received the most wonderful Thank You set filled with 10 different sentiments to tell anyone how grateful you are.
I stamped one of these sentiments several times in rainbow colors which really made the card front pop. Some brads in the corners added a nice touch and to me makes it more of a masculine "Thanks"
I then used another one of these "AWESOME" stamps on the inside.

Frosty Friends

The card today is in honor of all the snow we have gotten lately I imagine there will be lots of Frosty Friends appearing all over town. Maybe one will even show up in our own back yard.

The grand kids had their first snow day of the school year but I am not sure it will be the last because we are expecting more to come soon. It is hard to believe that last weekend the temps were in the high 50's.
