You've got purse-onality!

I am so stinkin' thrilled!!! My Getting Cricky stamps came in the mail Monday and I was finally able to play with them yesterday. I used the Fashionable Friends stamp set along with my new Sizzix Bigz Purse die. I just have to say this is so dang cuuuuute.

Kristal's stamps are so adorable and they stamp so clean and easy. I was so excited when I heard the news that she came out with her own stamp line and BAM I had to order them immediately. You need to go check them out. She also donates to charity with the sale of each set so you are not only getting awesome stamps you are also helping some folks in need.

Baby Announcements

Announcements I made for Aleah.
(Ali Bear is our newest grand daughter)
The little Teddy Bear is a quicklet eyelet from Eyelet Outlet.
The booties are from the Stork's Delivery cartridge and the baby mesh on the front is from RSMobleys Designs. I ran it through my Xyron and put the mesh on the front then sprinkled on the glitter.
The sentiment is from Pink by Design's "Baby Love" stamp set.

50th Wedding Anniversary

I made this banner for my parents 50th Anniversary. The rosette is a svg from SVG Cuts. The letters are from the Reminisce Accents cartridge.

I printed out pictures of my parents on their wedding day and cut a circle on plain cardstock with my cricut. I took the cut circle off the mat but left the rest of the cardstock on the mat. I then put their picture under the cardstock so they were showing through the circle and hit repeat last so that I got the right size circle for the medallion. (My version of print and cut)

I hot glued all the rosettes onto some Harvest craft ribbon.

Aleah Rose

She is 1 of the 4 most precious miracles in my life. It was 13 hours in the hospital and some worries of bad weather. The nurses were scouting out places where they could take the expecting moms in case we had tornado warnings but everything worked out. Tara was the first mom to arrive at the hospital on Monday and she was the last to deliver. I think Aleah was just waiting for the weather to clear. They came home today and are doing great. Big brother and big sister are so excited and very, very proud. Ali Bear's Oma is one extremely proud and happy lady also!!! One beautiful daughter that has given me three very healthy, beautiful and amazing grand babies and I am so very blessed.

Happy Father's Day

Here are the cards I made for the special dads in my life.
The idea for my hubby's card came from kwernerdesign blog.
She has got some really amazing ideas over there.
The stamps are from Pink by Design "Banner" and "Our Fathers" sets.
This card is for my dad. The sand came from Simply Charmed. The crab is from Lettering Delights and the waves are from a Fiskars punch. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "Punny-licious" stamp set. I took the Have a moo-velous Day stamp and blocked out the moo-velous and used the Crab-u-lous stamp in its place. I used some googley eyes and black pearl pen also. It turned out really cute.

Altered Notepad

This week, at Getting Cricky, the Simply Sunday challenge is Anything Goes.

I bought a plain steno pad and made it into an Inspiration Journal. I showed it to my boss today and he said I needed to start getting inspired because my journal is empty. LOL  I have a feeling that, with all the awesome bloggers out there, it is going to be filled up in no time at all.

The center of the journal is an embroidered quilt design that I colored in with my Bic Mark Its. I stamped it. I stickered it. I Pearl Pen and Stickled it. It has been border punched and ribboned so it is FULL of INSPIRATION!!!

Paper Playtime Challenge #48

All Righty everyone get your craft on and head over to Paper Playtime for this weeks challenge.

We are making Z-Fold cards for this challenge and they are so very easy to make.
The challenge ends at noon EST Saturday, June 25th.
Here is my inspiration for you this month.

After making this card I quickly put in an order for more face stamps at PKS because I needed some stamps that would work for a more petite girly look. I thought my little rocker looked a little like she has a double chin. LOL I can't wait for them to get here in the mail and then I'm going to redo this Rock Princess.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Peachy Keen Stamps
There are 31 stamps in this set, and they are absolutely adorable!
YOU MUST HAVE A USA SHIPPING ADDRESS TO QUALIFY TO WIN, BUT NOT TO PLAY.

Just Married

My neice is getting married next month and this is the card I made for her.  The tan doily was something my grandmother made and I have several of them. I think she was making a tablecloth because some of them are put together but several are like this one. I have had them since she passed away and I don't know anyone that can finish the project so I thought it would be awesome to put one into a card for my neice. I really hope she likes it as much as I loved making it.

My 2 loves... Together at Last

I have been in love with cloth for a long time and found my newest love of paper less than a year ago. I have finally combined the two. The flower was stitched out on the Bernina 830 (I am so intimidated by this machine right now) This is not embroidered... it is just one of the decorative stitches that this machine has. The 830 is such an amazing machine I am surprised that it is not capable of cooking dinner also.

I colored the flower with atyou Spica glitter pens and used a Spellbinders die to cut a hole in the cardstock. I outlined it with Stickles and used the Love Always stamp set from Pink by Design for the sentiment. The cardstock is DCWV's Green Stack that I got on clearance at JoAnn's today.

This is such a simple card but it turned out so beautiful. I think I may use this in my next Stich Fun class.
