Not Old. . . Vintage

All the treats on the Yummy Imagine cartridge look good enough to eat and every time I look through the handbook I probably gain 5 pounds...but oh is it worth it. I won this cartridge on Rosie's birthday blog hop and absolutely love everything about it.

Prayer Notepad

This is the cutest little notepad with such an awesome use. It is going to be used as my prayer notepad. I can write down things I am thankful for or people that I am lifting up in prayer. When it is full more pages can be added and some can be replaced.
My boss gave me a couple of notepads and I took them apart and stamped 1/2 of the pages with PKS Blushing Bride faces and the other 1/2 with each of the sentiments from K Andrew Designs "Scripture Sayings" stamp set.
The cover is made with 2 medium weight pieces of chipboard covered with cardstock from the Graphic 45 "Playtimes Past" collection. I then used the Cinch to punch holes in the cover and papers and bind it together.
Here it is all embellished with Prima flowers, 3GirlJam Crinkle Ribbon, CraftworkCards "Candi" and Karen Foster Metals "Old Type Puzzle Alphabet". I really do like the slight vintage vibe.

Aloha My Friend

I made this card a few days ago to send to a friend of mine but I kept looking at it thinking it needed something. Well I finally decided what I wanted to add thanks to the PKS Challenge 05: Just Cards - Friendship.

Magnetic Closure Album

Oh My Gosh I can't believe I have been away for an entire week. I have been so sick but was feeling much better yesterday so I finally got some time in my craft cave and was able to run through Carri's Birthday Blog Hop also. It was a lot of fun and saw some very pretty projects. If you are looking for some wonderful inspiration head over and hop through yourself and give Carri some birthday wishes. It all starts HERE!!!

This is what I was able to create yesterday. I saw the tutorial for this project on My Craft Channel. The tutorial shows 8x8 but I made mine 6x6 and I think I am going to make some smaller ones filled with lined paper.
