Tweetie Hoo Puns

A while ago I won a set of My Pink Stamper "Tweetie Hoo Puns" stamps from Kristal over at Getting Cricky with KAndrew. She had asked what we would do with these stamps if we were to win. Well I wrote something like I am a stamp-a-holic and I would stamp cards, layout and even my family if they got within reach. Ok so I have been really lax and hadn't used this set until today. I used a few different stamps from this set and here are the results. I also received my I-Top and made Bryce a magnet and Kylie a ring.
What can I say, they got in the way. LOL

A Princess Is Born

This is the second layout I did this weekend for Kristal's Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky with KAndrew. Our little Princess is actually 3 now and she is an absolute Diva.

I have been alternating layouts so neither one of the grandkids feels like I am filling one scrapbook faster than the other. We have our 3rd grand baby due in about a month so I really need to get my behind in gear or they won't have their books done until they get married.

It's A Boy

Kristal's Simply Sunday Challenge, over at Getting Cricky with KAndrew, is Banners and Pennants this week and boy did I have fun. I have so much catching up to do on my grandkids scrapbooks and I love that entering challenges gives me a little boost of motivation to get them filled. This little guy here is 6 years old now. LOL Oh how time flies.

Mother's Day Giveaway

My grandmother used to make the BEST preserves in the world. I loved being in her kitchen when she was canning. She would can anything she got her hands on and always planted a huge garden so we would have garden fruits, veggies, jams all year round. My craftiness comes from gran. She crocheted, knitted, made her own clothes and I'm sure if she was still with us she would have a Cricut also. It seems in our family craftiness skips a generation so I am looking forward to teaching my grandkids. I pray that everyone is having a wonderful Mother's Day today.
In Honor and Memory of my gran I am giving away a Preserves Cricut Cartridge. (brand new and still in the packaging)

All you need to do is be a follower and post a comment telling me something you love about your mom, grandmother, aunt or any special woman in your life. I will draw a winner on Sunday May 29th. I am sorry but I am only able to afford postage within the U.S.

Preserves Winner

I enjoyed reading about all the women in everyone's lives. Some of them made me laugh and some brought tears but they were all so wonderful. The influence of so many beautiful women to inspire us and make us who we are today is such an amazing gift. I so cherish all the strong women in my life and can only hope that one day my daughter and grand daughters will come to think of me as an inspiration and that I can inspire them to be strong women.

Now on to the winner of the Preserves cartridge. The result of Random.org is:
I will be sending you an email right after I post this.
Sarah from Crafting with Sarah said:
Happy Mother's Day to you! Oh to pick out one thing about my mom is very hard to do. My Momma is always there for me, she is supportive and always has an encouraging word for me when I am feeling down. She is my best friend and I love her!

I pray everyone is having a safe and loving Memorial Weekend.

Bayberry's Sewing Notions

I started a new job, a few weeks ago, teaching classes at my local sewing machine dealer. I am teaching Owner's classes for new Bernina owners and loving it. These classes keep me busy but don't give me much time for making anything to blog about.

Well Yee Haw I am now teaching projects as well and will have something pretty in the end to show. I am going to teach a class in a couple of weeks with the Bayberry's Sewing Notions designs and they are so amazingly gorgeous. Here is the wall organizer I made for the class. The only down side is I don't get to hang this in my room because it is hanging in the store but I can live with that because I still get to be creative.

Turtley Awesome Card

I made this card for a lady I work with. I wanted to cheer her up a little and let her know that I think she is awesome. The cool borders are from RSMobleys Designs in this months Grab Bag. I used Cri-Kits gel pens for the inside and blinged it up with some gems. Little Miss Turtle is from Stork's Delivery and she is sitting on a wobble. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from My Pink Stamper's "Even More Punny-licious" stamp set.
I am glad to say that she loved the card.
