Getting Cricky "Get Wild" Blog Hop

Welcome to the Getting Cricky "Get Wild" Blog Hop. This is such a special hop because we have some really special guest designers that have joined us. I am absolutely loving their imagination. We would love for you to visit each of our DT Sisters Blogs and leave lots of encouragment for all their crafty helpers along the way.
Getting Cricky Blog Hop
If my sweet dt sister Patti sent you over to visit Bryce, Kylie and me then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining us from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog because you do not want to miss any of the talent these kids are displaying.

Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs. Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more...

Here are my "Wild Animals"

My grands have been with their dad for 2 weeks and just came home last night so they were not here to help out but they are still joining us for the hop. This is a picture frame made out of popsicle sticks. The picture is of their first day of school.

Simply Sunday - Summertime

Welcome to a new Getting Cricky "Simply Sunday" challenge and I hope you all are having a very blessed day today.

This month's challenge is to create a project with a "Summertime" theme. It can be a card, layout, 3D, altered project or anything else you can think of just as long as it is about summertime.

This past weekend we went to my nephews graduation and I was able to visit a Michael's store. Oh that is a super duper fun place to be. While there, I was able to get the Paper Dolls Teen Scene cartridge. I have been wanting this cartridge since it was released but we don't get any of the new carts in my area so this was a gold mine. lol

For today's project I used that sweet new cartridge and his adorable little face is from the PKS Simple Simon assortment. If you live near the beach (wish I did) summertime would be all about surfing. I spent the summer after graduation in California and never wanted to leave the beach. We did a lot of body surfing but I never had the nerve to actually get up on my feet.

My Bears have been having FUN!

The grands are out of school and we have been having some fun playing around in the craft room.
When my daughter was young (and even now sometimes) I called her my Tara Beara. When the grands were born I got my Brycee Bear and then Kylie Bear and Ali Bear. They are all my bear cubs. So how great is it to make bears with my Bears!!!

When Bryce and I craft together he likes for me to pick things out but that is where my help is to end. Here is how the covo goes "Oma let's make something." "What do you want to make?" "I don't know you pick." "How about a bear?" "OK." So I get out the Cottage Cutz Tear Bear and box of paper scraps. We cut our bear parts and I say "OK here are the arms." "I know that (with a little attitude)." "These are the legs." "I know OMA! I know!! I can do it MYSELF!!!" lol He is getting so independent.
These sentiments are perfect because they are 2 of his most favorite words.
Kylie and I made this next card together. She is the total opposite from Bryce. She plays the supervisor when we do most things. She hunts through everything, picks them out and then tells me where to put them. She has to have Stickles on every project. Pink is her VERY favorite color and then purple if there is no pink. She is totally our family DIVA.
We used "Cherry Lipstick" crinkle ribbon and some fabulous vintage buttons from 3 Girl JAM on our projects.
