I bet y'all thought I forgot about drawing a winner for My O's Birthday Hop! Well admittedly I almost did. This week has been so crazy but I am here to give you a little surprise since I am so so late. Random.org picked one winner and that person will get a notepad holder with the notepad included but.......
If you commented (before tonite) on last Sunday's "My O's 32 Birthday Blog Hop" post and would like a notepad holder (without the notepad but you can get them at WalMart) then I will make one for you. Leave me a comment with a way to reach you and I will make you almost any color with any initial on it. I am sorry to say but I am only able to mail within the U.S.
So with that said here is the winner that Random.org chose.....

The gorgeous Tuxedo black crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM's "Celebrations bundle.
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Coffee & Tea for You & Me" stamp set.
To make the whole sentiment I had to mix and match some letters and words. I have circled what I used so you can see how it is done. Just by using a little scotch tape to mask off the parts you don't want to stamp and you can make any sentiment you want. So much FUN!!!
Hello all my crafty friends and welcome to My-O's 32 Birthday Blog Hop! Shannon is turning 32 and what better thing to do, then have a hop with us crafty people to celebrate!! If you stumbled upon this hop by chance, excellent!! Just make sure you start back at the beginning to give Shannon, the birthday girl, some warm wishes and for a chance to win some awesome yummy candy!! If Lisa sent you over then you are in the perfect place.
For my gift to Shannon I combined my 2 loves.... Paper and Fiber.
The notepad holder was embroidered using a file from A Design in Stitches. I didn't embellish the cover because it is meant to be torn off. I left it on to protect the papers during mailing.
The card sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Positive Thoughts" stamp set.
The "Antique White" ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM Pink and White bundle.
Thanks for hopping along today. Your next stop in the festivites is Ashley.
For my blog candy today I will make one winner their very own notepad holder with any initial they would like and in any colors they would like. All you have to do is...
1 - Be a follower.
2 - Leave a comment with a way to reach you.
I am sorry but for financial reasons I have to limit this candy to U.S. addresses only.
In case you have lost your way here is the complete line up of the amazing talent...

Here's a list of the entire hop, in case you get lost along the way or want to revisit anyone:
Happy Friday everyone! Today is my first official 3 Girl JAM design team post!
It has been so much fun playing around with some of the new products in the 3 Girl JAM store.
For today's project I used 3 of the new twine colors. (Peppermint Red, Green Apple and Lilac Purple) This twine is different from most of the others that I have tried. Two of the things I really like about it is that it is thicker than most and the white is not a really bright white! I also love the way it is packaged! Already wrapped around a card so it doesn't get tangled and on a ring so they stay together! How awesome is that??
The gumball machine is from The Cutting Cafe. I turned it into a shaker card by adding some foam tape and clear packaging plastic.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Happy crafting!
I am always trying to do fun things to thank people for coming to the classes that I teach. When I saw these adorable dress forms I knew I had to make them.
I wrapped 3 Girl JAM "Peppermint Red" Twine around the neck to make it look like a stylish scarf. (I think it turned out pretty cute) This twine is thicker than most so it was really full when I seperated the strands at the end.
Before I announce the winner of the 3 Girl JAM "Nice to Meet You" blog hop I would like to share one of my other love. When I am not playing with paper I am playing with fiber.
I love using my sewing/embroidery machine but I don't seem to post those creations very often. (don't ask me why because I don't have an answer) I do have a slideshow at the bottom of my blog of my fiber creations though.
These are 3 plain Hanes undershirts that I embroidered some single line designs on for my grandson. He was thrilled with the trucks and they really jazzed up a boring white shirt. The designs are from "Stitch It Cheap" The designs also come in "filled" form.
Now on to the good stuff.
The winner of the "Nice to Meet You" blog hop is.........

Hooray, Hooray, Hooray! I have been looking for a tutorial on how to make a crinkle cut flower and at last here is one! Thank you so much Gloria! Your card is fantastic!
I am all about lunchbox cards for my grandson and granddaughter.
They get a special note every day in their lunch and a new card at least once a week (more if I can manage it). I think I need to stock up on them this summer so I can keep ahead and send more "special cards" next year.
These sweet little Tea Pots are from The Cutting Cafe

Okay so tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I joined Pinterest and I am so addicted. This is the next best things to YouTube for finding cooooool inspiration!!!
----------------------------------------
I saw this planner for bloggers and it is just the best planner ever.
I made a couple of tweaks for me and absolutely LOVE it!!!
I used K Andrew Designs "Positive Thoughts" stamp set and stamped several of the wonderful sayings all over the cover. I stamped "Smile" over and over because some days we just need an extra reminder!!
If you would like to have this stamp set in your collection, now is the time. There is a sale going on and if you enter the promo code letshavefun you will get 20% off your entire order but hurry it won't last forever.
I used my Cinch and punched holes on the top of the cover and used alligator clips (i think that's what you call them) to hold the calendar pages. I tied 3 Girl JAM's Merlot crinkle ribbon from the "Wine and Jewels" bundle and Hot Chocolate crinkle ribbon from the "Hot and Cold" bundle on each of the clips and it looks beautiful.
If you order during the month of April you get free shipping. Hurry and take advantage of the savings!!!
Welcome to the 3 Girl JAM "Nice To Meet You" Blog Hop.
If my sweet DT sister Avery over at Iowa Craft Girl sent you here then you are on the right track. If you just happened to stumble upon this hop and want to start from the beginning, please go back to the beginning and visit Julie at A Little Bit of Bling.
Today the design team is hopping by to introduce ourselves and show you some of the fun things you can do with the awesome
3 Girl JAM products!
My name is Gloria and I am a mom of 1 adult daughter. I have 3 (almost 4) grandkids that call me Oma, which is German for grandma. This is where my blog name “Oma’s Crafts” came from. We have 4 generations living under the same roof. It can be very challenging at times but also rewarding. I find myself hiding in my craft room to get a little peace and quiet though.
I usually don’t act my age!! I have been a child care provider for many years so being around kids a majority of the time I start acting like one. You know how they say some people start looking like their pets well maybe I have started acting like my kids. :-) I also teach Bernina owners classes at my local shop and recently started teaching some paper crafting at our local JoAnn’s.
I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. It started with latch hook rugs, then plastic canvas and counted cross stitch through high school and up until 2005 when I got my first embroidery machine. In the summer of 2010 hubby and I were in Wal Mart and I saw the Cricut and the rest is history!!!
I started my blog about 1 ½ years ago and am loving it. I love making cards, 3D projects and minis. There are only 37 kids in my grandkids school so when I make treats I make 50 of them for all students and staff. I make a lot of lunchbox notes for the 2 oldest grandkids which they really like seeing each day.
I first got to know Julie (founder of 3 Girl JAM along with her 2 daughters) when she asked me to be part of her grand opening blog hop and I have loved her every since. I am so honored that she actually chose me to be a member of the first ever 3 Girl JAM Design Team!! How cool is that!! I am also excited about being in the company of some extremely talented crafters.
My project for today is in honor of our fearless leader because I consider her one of my besties!
There is a big sale going on at K Andrew Designs right now so it is the perfect time to head over and grab those sets you have been wanting!!! Just enter letshavefun in the promotional code to get 20% off your entire order.
Also remember to come join the fun with the 3 Girl JAM Design Team on Wednesday, April 11th.
OK I am most certainly living under the biggest rock on earth!!!
I got a call from a friend tonite asking if I had ever heard of duct tape flowers. Of course with me under this boulder of mine I had to say no. She wanted to know if I could make a mini flower and said to check it out on YouTube. So can anyone tell me how we ever ever survived without YouTube??
These are the absolute coolest flowers. Oh My Gosh they are super easy once you stop trying to make perfect squares out of duct tape. I have craft OCD and it is so hard for me to follow....
"Take a piece of duct tape and cut it into fourths."
I had my exacto knife out measuring how wide the duct tape is and trying to cut a piece so it would be perfectly square and then trying to cut that square into 4 more perfect squares.
Come on girl just approximate a square will ya!!!! LOL
I added some Distress Stickles and they are gorgeous!!!
I see many more of these beauties in my future for sure and Vicky the answer is YES!!!!!
