Relax

My project today is a gift card holder and coordinating envelope for Mother's Day.
My mother loves her pedicures so I thought I would get her a relaxing spa day.
(no Kmart does not do spa days but it was the only card I had handy at picture time)
The sentiment and flip flops are from the brand new "flipflops2stamp" stamp and die sets from The Stamps of Life.
I used 3 Girl JAM Harvest Orange and Sunflower crinkle ribbon to make the sentiment pop and add a double bow.
I used the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board to make the envelope and the wrap was made using Papertrey Inks Notched Hearts Banner die collection.

I Scream - U Scream

I Scream - U Scream - We all Scream for Ice Cream.
Today is my 3 Girl JAM design team post.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are refreshed for the week ahead.
My project for today is a trading card for my granddaughter's first day of school. I really love how it turned out. It is so bright and sunny and cheery. The Harvest Orange and Sunflower crinkle ribbon are such happy colors. Don't you just get a smile on your face when you see these colors. Yea I know you do.
Papertrey Ink "Sweet as Can Be" die
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Sweet July" stamp set.

Food for Thought

Today Getting Cricky is featuring the "Food for Thought" stamp set.

Our grandson's first day of 2nd grade was on Tuesday. He is in a new school this year so he didn't know any of the kids but has made a couple friends already. He is such an outgoing and social kid. (nothing like his Oma) Our granddaughter will start her first day of preschool next Tuesday. This is her second year of preschool and she can not wait to get started. She will be in a new school also and I am hoping it goes good.

I made some more tags to hide in their backpacks. They will not be taking a sack lunch everyday this year so they can't be called lunchbox notes any more. The other day my grandson saw the pizza boxes I had made for their first day of school and he said, "Oma you need to stop making these cutesy things. Kids are making fun of me." Now the part that I didn't understand is that school hadn't even started. lol I may need to look into making some more "manly" school notes. He is becoming so grown up.
Harvest Orange and Cherry Lipstick crinkle ribbon
Sunflower and Mistletoe crinkle ribbon
Baby Girl and Goblin Green crinkle ribbon
All of the fruits are from Peachy Keen Stamps "Faceless Fruit" and their adorable little mugs are from "Simple Sallies".

Getting Cricky DT post

Yeah today is my Getting Cricky DT post.
We are showcasing K Andrew Designs
stamp set.

I am getting sad because my time as a Design Team member is coming to a close. Only 1 month and it will be over but I am having as much fun as possible while it lasts. If you would like to become a member of Kristal's amazing design team there is still time to apply. Just click HERE to find out all the details.

I have been making lunchbox notes for the grands all summer so that I would be ahead of the game when school started. I can not believe that the kids are going back to school in just 2 weeks. It feels like summer just started and already it is over.

Here are 6 tags for my grandson. They were so fast and fun to make. I can write a message on the back and he can use it as a bookmark as well.
