Easter Treats

I have been busy making treat holders for my neices, nephews, grand kids and school treats. I love making 3D projects and class treats are a very good excuse to make lots.
For the school I made 50 pillow boxes using a Sizzix die (ruined 1 of them). I stamped them with the flower wreath from the PKS March SOTM. I colored in the centers of each flower with a Copper Star Gelly Roll pen. The sentiment is from Pink by Design's "Hoppy Easter" stamp set.

For my oldest granddaughter and my 3 neices I made lunch sack purses. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Scripture Sayings" stamp set, the handles are 3 Girl JAM "Cherry Lipstick" crinkle ribbon and the flower eyelets are from Eyelet Outlet.

The canvas bags (Gifts International) are for my grandson, baby granddaughter and youngest nephew. I stamped them with PKS "You are my Sunshine" stamp and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Splash-tastic Summer" stamp set.
Now I only have 1 more to make for my nephew that is graduating this year. I didn't think he would find as much excitement from any of these treat holders so I am going to need to get my thinking cap on for him.

K Andrew Design Team

This is turning out to be the best week ever!!!
Last night Kristal announced the new K Andrew Designs DT and I couldn't believe it when I saw my name on the list. I tried out for her first team and was so bummed when I didn't make it and when her second DT call was announced I couldn't apply so when she announced this call I thought maybe third time would be a charm and it was. Getting Cricky was the first blog I ever started following and Kristal was the first person to follow my blog. Kristal has been such a wonderful friend for almost two years and I am very excited to be part of her team.

Here is a Craft Inventory book I made for my shopping trip last weekend and her stamp was the perfect sentiment for this project.
miscellaneous Hobby Lobby ribbon & buttons
Trendy Twine Grape Fizz twine
PKS "Happy New Year" stamp assortment & March SOTM
3 Girl JAM "Spooky Bundle" Witches Brew & "Spring Bundle" Iris crinkle ribbon
K Andrew Designs "Fashionable Friends" stamp set
I made tabs using Papertrey Ink's Journal Tabs die collection with the most common things I buy at the craft shop so I wouldn't buy something I already have. It is not easy to return something when you have to travel 100 miles to do it. lol The tabs are: Cartridges - Copics - Dies - Embellishment Pens - Embossing Folders - Inks - Mists - PKS (Ben Franklin Too sells PKS but they are a better buy from PKS directly) - Punches - Stickles. This came in so handy when I found all the reinkers for my Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. :-)

This is my haul from last weekend.
 Michael's
Martha Stewart glue pen, "Embossed Teddy Bear", "3-in-1 Butterflies" & "Ribbon Loop" punches
Recollections paper & glitter pens
Tons of SMASH tabs, pads, tape, pockets and bands
4 pack of Smooch
i-Rock tray
Making Memories paper piercer and tweezers (not impressed with the tweezers because they don't have grip and the paper slides through)
Ben Franklin Too
X-Press It double sided high tack tape in 3 sizes (LOVE IT!!!)
McGill craft molding mat
Cuttlebug "Diamond Plate" embossing folder
We R Memory Keepers 1/8" - 3/8" corner chomper
a couple of stamp blocks, some clear buttons, some 3-d foam squares
tons of Tim Holtz distress ink reinkers and 2 new stamp pads

The best part is that my nephew graduates in May so we get to make another trip sooner than normal so I have to start saving again.

3 Girl JAM's First Design Team!!!!!

I am busting at the seams excited to tell everyone that I am now part of 3 Girl JAM's very first design team!!! This is a wonderful family business, run by a super sweet and crafty lady and her 2 daughters. I first fell in love with their crinkle ribbon when I was part of their grand opening blog hop. There are so many pretty colors to choose from! It is such a huge honor to be part of such a creative and inspirational group of crafters. Head over to the 3 Girl JAM blog and check out all the other design team members and give them all a huge congratulations!!!
Here are a couple of lunchbox cards I made, for the grandkids, using 3 Girl JAM "Baby Bundle" crinkle ribbon, Papertrey Ink's Zipper Die and Pink by Design's "Love Always" stamp set.
I do not know why this picture is so dark but I will try to get a better one tomorrow.

Lunch Sack Purse

Alex from You had me at Craft was the guest designer on My Pink Stamper and she made the cutest little purse out of a lunch sack. I just had to follow along with her video and am so glad I did because it turned out absolutely adorable. This was made for a little girl so I didn't want to add too many embellishments.

Operation Organization

Well I have spent the last week trying to get my craft room somewhat organized. It is almost done except for a few odds and ends.

One of the things I did, to organize some of the twine I have and get ready for my new Trendy Twine, is make some spools to hold it. If anyone would like the SCAL file for these spools you can leave me a comment with your email and I will send it to you. I do not know how to make it so anyone can download it.
 12 of them will fit on a 12 x 12 mat.
I ran 1/3 of them through my Xyron twice so that each side was covered with adhesive.
Then I adhered another spool to each side so it would be 3 layers thick.
Wrap your twine and see how pretty and organized it is.
