100 Days of School

Bryce's teacher sent home poster board for the kids to decorate for their 100th day of school. I asked him what he wanted and he said hearts so he got hearts. I cut them out using George and Basic Shapes (just came in the mail from my Cricut Rewards) and used Peachy Keen's PK-530 Simple Simons Face Assortment stamps on all of them and Bryce glued them to the poster board. When I took the picture (he refused to be in it) the big heart looked very very boring so I cut "100 DAYS OF SCHOOL" out of vinyl using the George cart also. This addition made it look a whole lot better.

"Fly Away With Me" SOTM

I received my SOTM from Pink by Design today so I had to play tonight. I just finished my card and was checking blogs and came across her Design Team post. Well I checked it out and wonder of all wonders I didn't make it. Here I had a card all ready and waiting to share and I didn't even make the team.

I'm just KIDDING. I didn't even apply but I thought it was a such a coincidence I couldn't help but giggle. There is a great line-up and I can't wait to see all the inspiration they have to share.

A huge shout out for Kristal from KAndrew Designs!!! She made the Sentiments DT aka "Terrific 10"

Bryce is turning the B-I-G 06

Bryce will be 6 on Monday so we made treats for his class. They can't bring home made treats to school any more so we added animal fruit gummies to the boxes. He helped make the boxes by putting the brads in and spreading the wings and filling them up. He had such a blast helping out. I didn't bling them up because I figured 6 year olds would be more impressed by the gummies than by the box they came in.

I am also entering this in Robyn's "It's My Birthday" Challenge

Things kids say!

Bryce loves coming in my room and looking around and when he saw my new stamp he asked me what it said so I read it to him.  He wanted to know what it meant and I said it means that you laugh and have fun in life so he turns and says, "Oma am I too cute?" so I had to make this card.

I am also entering it in Erin Lee and Angelica's "Music Mondays Challenge"

Couple a Cute Cards

Both of these cards are part of the January Grab Bag at Visual Designs by Chris and it is amazing. This month the grab bag is full of cards by 3 awesome ladies and I plan on making all of them. If you are a card maker you have got to take a look.

Bryce is going to be 6 the end of January so I made this card for him. He is all about buying his own stuff and wants games for the Wii so I thought I would give him a gift card to the game store and he can pick out his own.  This card is from RSMobleys Designs and is so neat. I used the Fastenater on the belt loops, Scrapper's Floss for the belt and pocket stitching, I i-Rocked some hot fix nailheads to the pocket and used a blue glitter pen on the edges of the card. This card looks so much like a real jean pocket it is amazing.
I have decided to send Bryce and Kylie a card in the mail twice a month and this is the second card they will be getting. They really loved the first ones they got the beginning of this week. This card is from K Andrew Designs and is so super cute.  I thought about using google eyes on the owls but the eyes in the cut file are so cute I just had to use them. I used a white and pink gel pen for the stitching aound the owls and stamped a sentiment from the Pink by Design "Go Green" set on the tree trunk. The kids are going to love these.

Re-Draw for Pink Blog Candy

I completely forgot until I looked up on my wall today, while I was organizing some things, and saw that my Pink Blog Candy was still hanging around. The person that won never emailed me so today I drew for another winner.
This is the list I made for the drawing last time. Since you got another entry if you sent someone over I couldn't just go by the comments.

I am sorry but I can only ship to U.S. right now.

I made this card for my granddaughter, with this cartridge, and added her name with pink letters.... her favorite, from Spare Parts (I think-I have had them for a while and they are not in original packaging so not 100% sure). The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "More Punny-licious" and the 2 flowers are open stock eyelets from a shop I visited back in November.

I finally found Shrink Film

I was on a mission the other day and finally found this cool stuff. I hate paying the high cost of shipping and I am not a very patient person so I absolutely love when I can find things locally. I am still hoping that Post-It craft paper finds its way to a local store.

The employees at my local Hobby Lobby told me that they didn't carry Shrink Film but they have been mistaken before so I scoured the isles the other day and finally found it. I did not know that you can run this product through an ink jet printer but you absolutely can. I printed the Nebraska logo on it and used my heat gun to make a key chain. It is a surprise for someone so keep it a secret.

It started out about 3" so it shrunk about 1/2 its size.
